THERAPY

I provide counselling services which are primarily talk-based approaches aimed at helping you improve your mental health and overall sense of wellbeing. Therapy sessions can be one on one or you may choose to involve a family member or other support person in your session(s). Together, we will come up with some goals for therapy ensuring that your needs are at the centre of the work. We will move at a pace you feel comfortable with and I will be checking in with you frequently to evaluate your progress and satisfaction with the therapy process, making the necessary adjustments if necessary. Most people who attend therapy, notice improvements in how they are feeling anywhere between 6-12 sessions, but it is a very individualized process. You are in the drivers seat. You can end therapy at any time as well we can discuss extending the number and/or frequency of sessions if you are finding the process helpful and effective. Below is a list of some of the challenges that bring people to therapy: Anxiety, Depression, Grief and Loss, Difficult Life Transitions, i.e., separation, divorce, new child, job loss etc., ADHD, Sleep Problems, Emotion Dysregulation, Interpersonal and Relationship Issues, Addictions and Harmful Substance Use, Burnout, Low Self-Esteem, Trauma, Eating Disorders, and Maladaptive Coping. I am confident in my training and skills to support you through any of the challenges life has given you. If I feel you may benefit from supports outside my scope of practice, I may recommend other resources and can make referrals to other professionals on your behalf.
Financial Information:Cost per session: $175Pay By: ACH Bank Transfer, Cash, ChequeAccepted Insurance Plans: Blue Cross I am a registered Blue Cross Provider and can direct bill on your behalf. I will gladly provide receipts if you have other third party insurance coverage. Most insurance providers will cover some portion of your expenses.
